AWESOME CONCERT!!!

I wasn't there but I watched it the other day: The Kylie Minogue Showgirl Homecoming Tour concert. I know it was filmed around a month ago, but I came across it yesterday and watched it. It was awesome!!! I wish I had been there. Check it out and watch the whole concert by clicking on the link above.

Ahhh I'm in need for another good dose of Australian music.

BACK TO SCHOOL

Who would have known, I've been accepted and have enrolled back at University. The good thing about having great friends and about having had these amazing experiences in AIESEC is that it has made me see the need to be constantly learning, thus I decided to go back to school.

Today was my first day and I loved it!!! I have to go back tonight again, but it's all worth it. I will find out how long I've got on my Communications Degree, but it shouldn't be more than a year I think, depending on how many units I get credited (from what I did in Australia at Notre Dame).

As I left the campus this morning I felt at total bliss, at peace with myself. I don't know how this will sound, but it felt like I was finally doing something for myself and it feels great! What do I mean? That in AIESEC you have to be so focused on people and their well-being, specially when you are leading a team, that you sometimes forget you also have your own mind and body to nurture.

It was wonderful having those two hours of Biology and knowing its a process of self-learning. I loved it!!!

DOMINO

Great movie to watch! Saw it last week and was impressed Kiera Knightley could be so versatile. Totally recommend it to everyone. If you're into action, Pulp Fiction and all that stuff, you will absolutely LOVE this film! 9/10

MEDALLA SHOWCASE

Went to a party on the 5th of January where for $25 we got to see and listen to La Secta, Wisin y Yandel and Paul Van Dyk. It was pretty good except for the amounts of people. I've only just realized Im not cut out for huge parties anymore... Ahhh old age!

OUR HOUSE GOT BROKEN INTO

Pretty traumatizing experience. They took lots of random things BUT also something that meant a lot to me: the office laptop!!! Every single document we had designed/received, all our photos and music. This info had been backed up on a hardrive, but the hardrive had been formatted recently so the computer was the only one with all that info. Tears, tears!!!

Now AIESEC needs to buy a new laptop... And it was the only computer in perfect working condition that we had. You have no idea how I've tortured myself about it, but now I realize there's no use feeling bad about it when there's nothing I can do. I don't know where we'll get the money to buy a new one but we need to do something soon. Thank god for Gmail as that's where all the latest things we were working on can be found.

This happened early morning on the 31st of December as we got back from a night out. Here are some pics, although not all.

SOMETIMES TASTES CAN CHANGE...
WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT??? HAHAHA

Sometimes what you thought you wanted out of life, in a partner, is not exactly what you need. Someone you thought could make you happy isn´t really someone who actually will... but you can´t tell until you have someone to compare them against who makes you smile every day.

I have come across this lately and, because of this experience I now am more open to people. Friends and the quality of frienships you have can make you value what you really need in life, and forget about those relationships that could potentially be dangerous. Thanks to the people who contributed to this.
