CHILDREN OF MEN

I watched Children of Men on DVD last night and was totally moved to tears for a while there. The movie on the whole was very surreal, with a fabulous soundtrack. It is so true to what could be our reality in a few years that I was actually scared, and after I finished watching it I just lay there thinking about what could be if we don't act now.

Transgenic foods, pollution, cloning, you name it... Those are things that will or could work to our demise. I sat there thinking about the negative contribution I am making to this planet and to myself and then later spoke to a friend about the movie and he went back to the whole "being a change agent" thing (without the AIESEC connotation) and about how the way I can change the world/prevent that future from happening is putting myself out there, getting an education and being outstanding.

Hmmmm....

Anyway, I recommend the movie, to all the AIESECers out there, you'll love it!
